My name is Bronte and I graduated from Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar in 2019 with an ATAR of 99.90. I am currently studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. I offer tutoring in Chemistry and Economics, having achieved a study score of 50 in both subjects as well as a Premier’s Award in Economics. I would highly recommend tutoring as it allows for a personalised approach to learning, where the specific needs, learning style and goals of the student can be accommodated for. Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension by facilitating a space where the student can ask questions and address specific areas of concern as well as providing the opportunity to improve exam technique. As a tutor, I firstly focus on ensuring my students have a comprehensive understanding of all content. Once this is established, I focus on improving the ability of the student to approach, analyse and apply their knowledge to exam-style questions.

ATAR: 99.90
Chemistry: Raw 50
Economics: Raw 50 (Premier's Award)

Hi! My name’s Felix, and I graduated in 2019 with an ATAR of 99.60. As a recent graduate myself, I know exactly how crazy of an adventure highschool can be, so I hope to pass on my personal knowledge of how I managed to juggle academics, music, sport and school leadership to you. By compressing complex concepts into easy-to-understand chunks, I aspire to help you maximise your learning efficiency, such that you have time for  other aspects of VCE. With detailed lesson plans for each class, self-made SACS and practice VCAA-style exams, I aim to make sure every session is both worthwhile and enjoyable. In terms of my own study, I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne. Cheers for taking the time to read my bio, all the best for the year!

Hey guys, my name is Joshua Kulasingham and I went to Melbourne High School and graduated with a 95.35. I am studying Psychology within the BsC at Melbourne University and am offering both Psychology and English tutoring. After much study and much lack of study, I believe I have found the core balance on how to maximise your results with minimum effort. At first this may sound like a lazy ass way to approach your studies, but by focusing specifically on what will be assessed in SACs and Exams, and by utilising the best techniques to learn the content, it not only opens your time up to study other subjects but also enjoy the most interesting year of high school. My tutoring classes will be focussed on specific topics and questions that will fast track you to a great score. Also I bring chocolate to class. Details: 95.35  ATAR Psychology (44) English (43)

Hi, I’m Mac and I graduated from Camberwell Grammar School in 2016 with an ATAR of 99.85, a score that I believe was founded on a willingness to work and work and then after that work just a bit more, placing me in the top 0.15% of students in Victoria.   For me, getting through VCE is all about balance, not just in terms of staying on top of your different subjects, but also in how you work on them. I understand that not everyone is equally talented, and on those occasions, I believe that mindlessly droning through practice exams isn’t enough, and that sometimes it pays to slow down and focus on your weaknesses too.   I’m aiming to help push your grades up enough for you to be happy with them, whether that means revising earlier concepts or working ahead to enhance your understanding before studying them in class, and will be offering tutoring for the following subjects:

- French 42 raw, with a detailed understanding of how your exams will be marked and how to maximise your marks in the oral exam, I received 200/200 in this part of the exam

- Mathematical Methods 46 raw, I will cater classes according to the way you wish to go through the course, and ensure that you have a sound understanding of exam technique and styles, as well as the concepts of the course.

- Chemistry 45 raw, similarly adjustable to Methods above, with more detailed explanations of difficult concepts as necessary

Good luck with the year, and enjoy it(even if you think you won’t, you will)!

Hey guys. I’m Kerry, and I graduated from Melbourne High School in 2016 with an ATAR of 99.75. I will be tutoring VCE Methods and Specialists, both of which I received a raw study score of 48 in.
Through my studies, I realised that there are many students who rote learn mathematics subjects without being fully aware of what they are doing, and I believe this is in part due to some school teachers' own subpar knowledge of the subject. My teaching philosophy is to teach the why's and how's of these core mathematics topics, which will provide a much more beneficial and well-rounded outlook on the subject.
I hope to be able to help you in the upcoming year as both a mentor and friend, and good luck to all on your studies! ;)
